Delegate Donald Lee Bennett and his wife, Beth, have built their life in Berkeley County and reside there with their daughters Emily and Brena and their dogs Winston and Bo. They also operate a local small business that serves the Eastern Panhandle. Donald’s deep roots in the community guide his work every day and pushes him to serve those in West Virginia with the utmost respect and care.

As a proud Army veteran, Donald is known for his discipline and focused approach to public service. Similarly, his background in the healthcare system gives him firsthand insight into the challenges that face patients, providers, and rural communities, which further shape his commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare, strengthening healthcare for veterans, and reducing healthcare barriers for families across West Virginia.

Donald is also a strong defender of the Second Amendment, pro-life policies, and advocates for a limited, efficient government that works to protect taxpayers and preserves individual freedoms and rights. He is committed to policies that strengthen families, support veterans, and promote economic growth.

Delegate Donald Lee Bennett currently serves on the Government Organization committee, working to improve state operations, enhance government accountability, and ensure the responsible use of public resources.

Donald brings over 20 years of Berkeley County community involvement, U.S Army service, healthcare system experience, and small business leadership to the House of Delegates.
